自1990年以来的传统, a pageant is held annually in the spring to select a student to represent 博西尔教区社区学院 as a hostess, 发言人, 也是校园和社区的大使.
Contestants are judged on leadership in academic and extracurricular activities, 公民身份, 为学院和社区服务, 风度, 个性, 专业, ability to express opinions and thoughts in a clear and articulate manner, 还有个人形象和吸引力. The titleholder is expected to be a person of high moral character and a student with a great deal of school pride and spirit. 这个角色需要一些公开演讲, and any student interested in applying should feel comfortable in the public eye.

与Ms. BPCC pageant, the college also hosts a 小骑士小姐 competition. This is an all-natural pageant with the objective of selecting a young lady to represent 博西尔教区社区学院 alongside Ms. 在BPCC任职期间. 这不是典型的浮华风格的盛会. It showcases the natural beauty of the child and allows the child’s individual 个性 to shine through.

- Provide a minimum of 10 hours of community service per fall and spring semesters to be coordinated with the Director or Program Coordinator (Reading to elementary school classes, visiting hospitals/nursing homes, etc.)
- Attend local high school pageants (Shreveport/Bossier area) and other area pageants as coordinated by the Director or Program Coordinator
- Present awards/scholarships at area high schools and/or area pageants
